Blair County ESZ Change Policy

The purpose of this policy is to establish a clear, consistent, and transparent framework for the adjustment of Emergency Service Zones (ESZs) within the County’s Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and Provisioning Boundary. This policy is intended to ensure that all ESZ changes are managed efficiently and in a manner that supports accurate data integration with the Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, enhances the timeliness and accuracy of emergency response, and maintains edge-matched datasets in support of Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG911) initiatives.
